Safari Information (Important)

Jeep Sharing & Booking Rules

  1. Safari bookings are made per seat on a shared jeep (maximum 6 guests per vehicle).
  2. Guests may be grouped with other travellers for the safari.
  3. Gypsy (jeep) and guide charges are not included in the package and are collected separately at the time of safari allocation.
  4. Safari rides are non-refundable once confirmed by the forest department.

Forest Department Rules & Guest Responsibilities

  1. Forest rules strictly prohibit littering, loud noise, and getting down from the vehicle.
  2. Same government ID (Aadhar or Passport) used during booking must be carried in original on the safari day.
  3. Guests are advised to arrive at the park gate at least 30 minutes before the safari reporting time.
  4. Late arrival may result in forfeiture of the safari without refund.
  5. Safari zones and timing allocations are controlled by the forest department and are subject to availability.

  • Follow all instructions of your guide and driver.
  • Wear earthy or muted colors to blend into the surroundings.
  • Carry essentials: water bottle, sunscreen, hat/cap, and binoculars.
  • Maintain silence to avoid disturbing wildlife.
  • Respect the jungle and fellow travelers at all times.

❌ Don’ts During Safari

  • Do not step out of the jeep, except at designated rest points.
  • Avoid loud music, shouting, or sudden movements.
  • Do not litter inside the park — always follow eco-friendly practices.
  • Flash photography is strictly prohibited.

Day 1: Arrival at Pench National Park

Arrival at Pench by noon and check-in at your wildlife resort.

Welcome drink and leisure time to explore the resort or nearby areas.

Evening nature walk or visit a nearby tribal village to experience local culture. Dinner and overnight stay at the resort.

Wildlife Experience – Morning  Safaris

  • Early Morning Safari:
    Before sunrise, depart for your  jeep safari into the core zones of Pench National Park, accompanied by a trained guide and carrying your packed breakfast provided by the resort.
    Spot magnificent wildlife like the Bengal tiger, Barasingha, and leopards in their natural jungle environment.
  • Breakfast Setup (Approx. 8:30 AM):
    Midway through the safari, take a break at the designated forest camp area inside the park — such as Turiya, Karmajhiri, or Jamtara Zone’s rest points — and enjoy your meal amidst the tranquil jungle atmosphere.

After the safari, return to the resort. Take time to freshen up, relax, and

Check-Out and Departure

  • 11:00 AM: Check out from the resort  begin your return journey towards your selected departure city — Jabalpur,  or Nagpur.
  • Approximate Travel Times:
    • Jabalpur: 3 hours
    • Nagpur: 2 hours
  • 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Arrival and drop-off at your preferred destination.
  • Core zones of Pench National Park:  Turiya, Karmajhiri and Jamtara zones.
  • Spot iconic wildlife like Bengal tigers, leopards, sloth bears, barasingha, and exotic birds.
  • Optional visit to nearby tribal villages for a cultural experience

Included

  1. Accommodation:
    • 1 nights stay in a comfortable Standard / Deluxe / Luxury resort category (as per booking).
  2. Meals:
    • All major meals included – 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch  and 1 Dinners.
    • Meals are served at the resort’s in-house restaurant.
  3. Jungle Safaris:
    • 1 Jungle Safaris in Pench National Park.
    • Includes: Safari permit/entry fees only.
    • Note: Gypsy (jeep) charges and guide fees are not included in the package.
    These charges are to be paid directly by the guest at the safari gate at the time of entry, as per forest department rules.
  4. Bonfire Experience:
  • Enjoy a cozy evening bonfire at the resort (subject to weather and availability).

Excluded

  1. Transfers:
    • Pickup and drop-off from Jabalpur,  or Nagpur is not included in the package.
    • Resort to Safari Gate transport (for morning safari) is also not included  and must be arranged by the guest or coordinated at additional cost.
  2. Personal Expenses:
     • Snacks, drinks, or meals not mentioned in the itinerary
    • Tips for drivers, guides, or resort staff
    • Laundry or any personal purchases
  3. Travel Insurance:
    • No travel or medical insurance is included in the package
  4. Additional Safari Costs:
    • Any extra safari or excursions not listed in the itinerary
  5. Camera Charges:
     • Any charges applicable for carrying cameras, especially DSLRs or video equipment, as per forest department rules
  6. Gypsy (Jeep) & Guide Charges:
    • While safari permit/entry fee is included, the cost of the jeep (gypsy) and guide is not included
    • These are payable directly at the safari gate
  7. Any other expenses incurred due to bad weather, road closure, landslides or Local Political Conditions, etc.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Bookings are subject to availability and confirmation at the time of payment.
  2. Valid government ID proof (Aadhar, Passport, etc.) is mandatory for safari bookings and must be carried during the trip.
  3. Safari bookings must be made at least 15 days in advance, as per forest department requirements.
  4. Safari timings and zone allotments are managed by the forest department and are subject to change without prior notice.
  5. In case of unforeseen circumstances (weather, forest closure, operational delays), itinerary changes may occur.
    • No refunds will be provided in such cases, as per forest department policies.
  6. Full payment of the package is required in advance to confirm the booking.
  7. Once safari permit is booked, it is non-refundable and non-transferable
  8. Any rescheduling is subject to resort and safari policy.
  9. Resort images shown are for reference; actual room may vary slightly.

Cancellation Policy

  • 30 days or more before the trip:  Full refund
  • 15 to 29 days before the trip:  50% refund
  • Less than 15 days before the trip:  No refund

Booking Notes:

  • Safari permits are non-transferable and non-cancellable once issued by the forest department.
  • In case of government-imposed closure, full safari refund is subject to forest policies.
  • Full payment is required to confirm the package. No tentative or partial bookings accepted.

Photography Policy:

  • Still cameras are generally free.
  • DSLRs or professional video cameras may attract additional fees as per park rules.
  • Drones are strictly prohibited inside the national park.
